Utah Prairie Dog Conservation
The Utah prairie dog has been on the endangered species list since 1973 with little to no recovery shown. Many factors like poisoning, shooting, disease, and development of land threaten the Utah prairie dog. Steps are being taken to study the species and help them recover more efficiently. We have a webpage dedicated to discussing Utah Prairie Dogs

Desert Tortoise
The Desert Tortoise is an elusive animal of the dry Mojave Desert. Shy and charismatic, this is an reptile you can't help but love. Sadly, years of love combined with increased humans in the desert, and a change in the predator community has resulted in a dangerous drop in tortoise populations. Currently, the Desert Tortoise is an federally endangered species. We have compiled more information on a page dedicated to these reptiles. |
